How it Works

Private Proxy consists of software installed on your PC which provides access to our secure proxy servers.  When you subscribe to Private Proxy, you will be given a username, password and download link that is required for accessing our anonymous proxy servers.

After installing the software, you will be prompted for your Username and Password.  You will also be given the choice of 4 different servers to choose from.  Three are located in the United States and one is located in the Netherlands.  There is a minumum of 10 different IP addresses for each of the servers giving you a total of 40 different IP addresses.  These IP addresses will rotate every 30 minutes for each server or you can disconnect from one server and select another server to manually change the IP address.

All your data is being transmitted through our anonymous proxy servers where your IP address is changed and 128-bit data encryption is being applied to ensure your protection.

You can connect and disconnect from the anonymous proxy at any time. Once connected, a secure tunnel is created between your PC and the anonymous proxy server. The anonymous proxy's encrypted tunnel does not allow your ISP, or your work, to see what sites you are browsing. All they can see is a steam of meaningless data that is going through their server.

When you connect through one of our anonymous proxy servers, your IP address is changed to one of ours. The IP addresses change at the top of the hour and again at the bottom of the hour. So, for example, if you connect to any of the anonymous proxy locations at 5 minutes after the hour, you will have that IP address for 25 minutes. If you stay connected, then you will have the new IP for a full 30 minutes. The IP changes on the anonymous proxy locations based on the anonymous proxy server's internal clock and has nothing to do with when you connect.
